Connect Google Ads

Let AdCue see your Google Ads data

Link your Google Ads account to AdCue so the AI can analyze your campaigns, find wasted spend, and give you clear recommendations.

What is Google Ads?

Google Ads is a tool from Google that lets you show advertisements to people when they search on Google or browse websites. If you've seen a result at the top of Google marked "Sponsored", that's a Google Ad.

By connecting your Google Ads account, you let AdCue look at your ad data, including how much you're spending and how your ads are performing. This is how AdCue finds problems and suggests improvements.

Before you start

Make sure you have these things ready:

  • An AdCue account. If you haven't created one yet, see Create Your Account.
  • A Google Ads account with at least one campaign. If you don't have one yet, create one for free at ads.google.com.
  • Admin or Manager access to the Google Ads account. If someone else owns the account, ask them to give you access first.

How to connect

  1. 1

    Open Settings

From your dashboard, click the gear icon in the sidebar or top-right corner. This opens the Settings page where you manage connections.

  2. 2

    Click Connect Google Ads

Find the Google Ads section and click the blue "Connect" button. This opens a Google sign-in window.

  3. 3

    Allow access

Review the permissions Google shows, then click Allow. AdCue reads your data and cannot change ads without your permission.

  4. 4

    Select your ad account

If you have more than one Google Ads account, pick the one you want AdCue to monitor. A single account is selected automatically.

  5. 5

    Automatic first audit

AdCue immediately starts your first audit. It usually takes 30 to 60 seconds, then your health score and recommendations appear.

What happens after connecting?

Once your Google Ads account is connected, AdCue will:

  • Run a free mini audit of your campaigns in about 30 seconds.
  • Calculate a health score from 0 to 100.
  • Show AI-powered recommendations for improving performance.
  • Update your data daily so your health score and recommendations stay fresh.
