Connect Meta Ads

Let AdCue see your Facebook and Instagram Ads data

Link your Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Ads account to AdCue so the AI can analyze your social media campaigns and help you improve them.

What is Meta Ads?

Meta Ads is the advertising system that shows your ads on Facebook and Instagram. If you've seen a post in your feed with the word "Sponsored" below it, that's a Meta Ad.

Meta is the company that owns Facebook and Instagram. "Meta Ads" means ads that run on Facebook, Instagram, or both.

Before you start

Make sure you have these things ready:

  • An AdCue account. If you haven't created one yet, see Create Your Account.
  • A Facebook account connected to Meta Business Suite. If you don't have one, set it up at business.facebook.com.
  • At least one ad account inside Meta Business Suite with active or past campaigns.

How to connect

  1. 1

    Open Settings

From your dashboard, click the gear icon in the sidebar. Scroll to the Meta Ads section.

  2. 2

    Click Connect Meta Ads

Click the blue "Connect" button next to Meta Ads. This opens a Facebook login window.

  3. 3

    Grant permissions

Review the permissions for reading ad account data and page information, then click Continue. AdCue uses read-only access by default.

  4. 4

    Select your ad account

If you manage multiple ad accounts, choose the account you want to analyze. A single account is selected automatically.

  5. 5

    First Meta audit starts

AdCue checks creative fatigue, CPA efficiency, budget utilization, and wasted spend. Results appear in about 30 seconds.

What happens after connecting?

Once your Meta Ads account is connected, AdCue will:

  • Run a free mini audit of your campaigns in about 30 seconds.
  • Calculate a health score from 0 to 100 for your Facebook and Instagram ads.
  • Show AI-powered recommendations, including when to pause expensive ad sets or increase budget for strong creatives.
  • Update your data daily so scores and recommendations stay current.

Switching between Google Ads and Meta Ads

If both platforms are connected, use the platform selector at the top of the dashboard. It shows a green "G" for Google Ads and a blue "f" for Meta Ads.

Each platform has its own health score, recommendations, and audit results. AdCue keeps them separate so the advice stays relevant.
